What’s in it for me?

Remembering Sharon – Strength in Knowledge Article
Look for an article that documents the recollection of Sharon Swartworth 20 years after her tragic death in Iraq, along the Cornel Gilmore and four aircrewmen from the 101st Airborne Division. Army University Press will publish the article in the Strength in Knowledge: The Warrant Officer Journal in early July 2023 (around the WO Birthday). All eleven of the remaining Chief Warrant Officer of the JAG Corps contributed to the article.
Remembrance for CW5 Sharon Swartworth – Fort Novosel, Alabama (November 2023)
The US Army Warrant Officer Career College will host a Remembrance for CW5 Sharon Swartworth in early November 2023. Everyone will be welcome to attend. #AMLA is supporting the event with a wreath-laying ceremony.
Regimental Awards Program
#AMLA is working extremely hard to offer the US Army JAG Corps a Regimental Award program for the past, present, and future members of the JAG Corps. We are working with the Judge Advocate General’s Association of Legal Professionals, and the Retired Army Judge Advocate Association. A lot of things have to come together to get this off the ground, but with Legal Administrators behind the program–we can Move the Ball!
#AMLA / ILTA Partnership
We have begun socializing the idea of #AMLA joining the Internation Legal Technology Association. This would allow all active #AMLA members to participate/collaborate in ILTA events. It’s still early and we don’t know what will happen–but we are trying. This will mean your ACTIVE membership will be important!

Now, what’s in it for me?
This is YOUR professional association. It is what you want it to be. All you have to do is let us know what YOU need, and perhaps join the committees to put it in action–that is where the #TCML happens. We look forward to hearing from you the comments or at #AMLA CHAT
